  Everything typed was very reasonable. But, think on this, suppose you were to create a killer title? I mean, I don't want to tell you how to run your blog, but what if you added a title to maybe get a person's attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is kinda plain. You could look at Yahoo's front page and see how they create news headlines to grab viewers to click. You might add a video or a pic or two to get readers interested about what you've got to say. Just my opinion, it would make your blog a little bit more interesting.
